What is gachapon?
Gachapon (also called gashapon) are Japanese capsule toys dispensed from vending machines. Each capsule contains a surprise collectible figure or item from a specific series.
Are these authentic Japanese gachapon?
Yes! Every capsule is 100% authentic and imported directly from Japan. We source our gachapon through authorized distributors in Japan who work directly with official manufacturers including Bandai, Kitan Club, Takara Tomy A.R.T.S, and other officially licensed Japanese manufacturers.
Gacha Twist is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with or officially endorsed by the character brands or franchises featured in these products. We do not sell replicas, imitations, or counterfeit products under any circumstances.
All products are legally sourced and authorized for resale, and each product page lists the manufacturer to help verify authenticity.
How does ordering work?
When you order, you'll receive a surprise gachapon capsule from your selected series. Part of the fun is not knowing exactly which item you'll get—just like using a real gachapon machine in Japan!
What if I get a duplicate?
Duplicates are part of the authentic gachapon collecting experience. Many collectors trade duplicates with friends or other collectors to complete their sets.
Will you restock sold-out items?
No, we cannot restock gachapon once they sell out. Each series is imported in limited quantities directly from Japan, and manufacturers typically do not produce additional runs once a series ends. This is part of what makes gachapon collectibles so special—they're truly limited edition. We recommend purchasing items you love when you see them, as they may not be available again.
Why do prices differ from Japan?
Gachapon in Japan are sold through vending machines at local pricing. To bring authentic capsules to the U.S., we import in small batches and cover international shipping, customs, and import fees. Each capsule is carefully handled and packaged to ensure it arrives sealed and protected.

How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed within 1-3 business days. We offer the following shipping options:
🇺🇸 United States:
- Economy Shipping: $4.90 (5-8 business days)
- Standard Shipping: $6.90 (3-4 business days)
- FREE Economy Shipping on orders $40+
🌍 International:
Shipping rates and delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your location and package weight via USPS. For Japan, DHL Express is also available.
You'll receive tracking information via email once your order ships.
Will I be charged customs or import fees?
International orders may be subject to import duties, tariffs, and taxes upon delivery. These charges are set by your country's customs authority and are the responsibility of the customer — they are not included in your order total or shipping cost at checkout.
We are not responsible for any customs fees, import duties, or taxes charged upon delivery. If you are unsure about your country's import policies, we recommend checking with your local customs office before placing an order.
🇺🇸 US orders are not subject to import duties or customs fees.
Can I return or exchange my gachapon?
Because gachapon are blind pulls, we don't offer returns or exchanges based on the specific item you receive—the mystery is part of the experience!
However, if your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or missing items, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos, and we'll send a replacement or issue a refund.
Unopened items in original packaging may be eligible for return for store credit with prior approval (return shipping is at your expense unless we made an error).
